Coconut Crab
Weighing in at 9 lbs. and growing to a length of 3 ft., these oversized crabs are the largest living arthropod in the world. Their interesting names are derived from their alleged ability to crack open coconuts with their immensely strong claws. We don’t recommend getting into a friendly game of ‘mercy’ with these monsters. You will lose.
