When enough of the ice had cleared, they finally headed out to the open sea. A little late, but still hopeful about their prospects for the day.
On this day, Cliff’s son Alan joined them to help out on the boat (as he often does). The Russell family has been fishing the Labrador waters for generations; Alan is always a welcome addition to The Northern Swan crew.
