Rescued from the Sidewalk, No One Knew What This Strange Creature Would Turn Into

If you were to discover a strange creature lying on the ground, would you be willing to pick it up and care for it, especially if you had no idea what it was? Or would you leave it and let nature take its course? Well, if you’re Jeff Longo, you do what you think is right and take the wee one home and hope for the very best.

What could have been a dead end for this little one, became a truly inspiring story about taking a chance on something or someone and in return, getting a strange, new best friend.

So let’s get back to the question at hand… what is this little guy/girl? Can any of you guess?

Biscuit is PRICELESS! She reminds me of a similar experience I had with my beloved Timothy, a white-footed mouse I found as a day-old pinkie and hand-and-bottle-fed until she opened her eyes and – we BONDED! I had this loving little mouse (who never left my side and liked to have her chin scratched) for sixteen months and get a lump in my throat even after the 46 years she has been gone. The best little friend I ever had!

this is incredible and very courageous, this is the kind of thing that reminds me that there are still great caring people left in this retched world.

She should have been taken to a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center. He is lucky that he did not harm her. It is not okay to raise wildlife!!

It’s a flying Squirrel. My mom used to take of them when they were babies. When they were adults she release them out to the outside world
