The Story of Augustus – A Walking Skeleton Undergoes An Amazing Dog Transformation

This abandoned and neglected skeleton of a dog is named Augustus. He was found completely emaciated and wondering around the streets in Chicago, no doubt looking for anything that resembled food. He had a large sore over his hip bone, you could see every rib and vertebrae he had, and his fur remained in patched around his body. But thanks to the loving staff members of the Trio Animal Foundation (TAF), based out of Chicago, Augustus received the help he needed to persevere and give life a fighting chance. Although he had no food, home, or companion, he had spirit and that’s just what might have saved this young boy’s life.  You simply won’t believe Augustus’ incredible dog transformation. Just wait until you see what Augustus looks like now!

Thank you for saving this poor abused and neglected dog. And if anyone is overwhelmed with the responsibility of owning any pet, please find them another home, where they will be loved.

No animal should every have to go through this for they didn’t do anything wrong to be abused. Some people should take a lesson from this, no matter what with the abused and neglect they go though they still have forgiving and biggest warm loving heart. They to want to be is loved and be part of a family warm inside from the cold and cool from heat in return they will give you love and pertection. Those who this to them maybe put in the same way, but then 2 wrongs don’t make it right. Thank you for this story,if I can only stop crying so I can see what I am writing. My daughter found a big dog young one just 2 yrs.didn’t look as bad as this one but he was on his way out. The vet was so suprise that he last as long as he did. She got him health again found a very loving widower.Who love him dearly just a few weeks later found out he had stage 4 cancer he (new owner) right away made a appointment for his first treatment but sadly he passway the night before his first treatment. We all still miss him so. Before his end he knew he finely had love and caring family.
